Travel Purpose: business

Positive: We arrived almost midnight but easily found the assigned parking spot and gained access into the apartment because of the timely and detailed instructions from the hosts. In our convos, they were friendly, prompt in their responses, and very helpful (we'd asked them for suggestions on transportation to a couple of tourist spots in the area). The accommodations were immaculate and the apartment was truly fully-stocked with everything we needed, including unexpected little details - ziptop bags, baking soda and vinegar in the pantry, tea kettle, a filtered water dispenser in the fridge - which made us feel like we were at home away from home. We were a family with three teenagers and we made full use of the two queen beds and queen sofa bed - the apartment was cosy, spacious and comfortable. Our teens especially enjoyed spending the mornings in the balcony from which there was a view of the mountains and the pretty street and pond below. The location was also excellent - it is about a 5 minutes' drive from the center of town and surrounding amenities like the supermarket and restaurants, but there is also a gorgeous walking path along a boardwalk through very pretty marshland that takes you into town within 15 minutes. Within the resort community itself, there are restaurants and shops like a pharmacy, a little artisanal grocer, and many more. There were many other facilities and amenities included (e.g. swimming pool) that we did not take advantage of because our stay was so short (4 nights) but what we did use (washer, dryer, fireplace, TV, thermostat etc.) we found to be well-maintained and a much-appreciated contribution to making our vacation feel luxurious and enjoyable. Thank you, Shaun and Donna, for sharing your home with us for that short time. We loved our time in Canmore and hope to be back someday!

Negative: The accommodations were practically perfect but if we had to suggest an upgrade, and if it were at all spatially possible, it might be king beds instead of queens in the bedrooms, especially when accommodating families of adults. As is, the beds were very comfortable!

Summary: Excellent and luxurious, with great location and views. We would definitely recommend this!
