A stunning 2-acre property in a mountainous and rural ocean-side setting just 40 mins from Victoria in Metchosin, BC. The gorgeous modern suite is 1,000 sq' open concept with warm wood beams, huge windows, and elegant touches like pendant lights from Venice over the glass dining table, a hand-pottered swag light from Provence over the kitchen island, and real art from around the world and my studio. Metchosin is truly a magical rural location and this place was created especially to take in the incredible views of Mount Baker, Victoria and the US Olympic mountain range. When people visit they always gush over the view - even our neighbours do. On special occasions, we can see the fireworks from here! There is a lot of nature here, eagles, owls, numerous other small birds (especially hummingbirds), deer, bunnies, and the occasional bear!
Rolling hills, sheep farms, views of Mt. Baker and Victoria and the ocean, hiking/biking/walking trails right around the property and surrounding regions connect via the Galloping Goose trail network. You can book local fishing excursions at Pedder Bay and Sooke. Only 5 minutes away is Matheson Lake for swimming, hiking and canoeing.
