Swim, beachcomb, paddle board & explore nearby parks & trails. 7 minutes drive to quaint seaside towns of Chemainus & Ladysmith for Theatre, pubs, music, fine dining, thrifting & shopping. 25 min to Ferries + Duncan or Nanaimo.
The space
The Salty Mermaid is a 600sq foot, private fully air-conditioned and playfully decorated ocean themed cottage with a 200sq foot Lanai front deck plus garden. Everything you need to cook, relax or work (if you can take your eyes off the views!) is provided. Furnishings, decor and appliances are new. A sandy beach is steps off the driveway. Paddle boards available on request. Guests are welcome to entertain friends on the expansive deck and lawn space with BBQ and propane firepit. Blackout curtains in the Queen bedroom ensure a restful sleep, and laundry facilities are in the unit. Queen Murphy bed in living room (to accommodate from 2-4 guests). Baby travel bed (crib/change/playpen combo) available by request.
