The Space:
Snow settles quietly on the evergreens as you arrive, the air crisp and clean, the forest hushed except for the soft crackle of a fire waiting inside. Mornings begin with pale winter light filtering through tall windows, and evenings wind down in warm water beneath the trees, steam rising into the cold mountain air. This is a place where ski days end slowly and comfortably, without ever leaving the calm of the woods behind.
Set high on the south side of Whistler Mountain in Taluswood, this ski-access chalet offers a peaceful winter retreat with forest and mountain surroundings. Seasonal ski-in/ski-out access connects intermediate skiers to the Dave Murray trail and Creekside Gondola, letting you return home through the trees at the end of the day.
Living spaces
Vaulted ceilings and large picture windows define the open-concept living area, filling the space with natural light even on snowy afternoons. Cedar and stone accents create a classic mountain feel, while comfortable seating and a TV invite relaxed evenings indoors. A gas-assisted wood-burning fireplace anchors the room, making fireside gatherings especially inviting after time on the slopes. An office nook provides a quiet place to focus, with a small mini bar fridge close at hand.
Kitchen and dining
The kitchen is designed for shared meals and slow winter mornings, with granite counters and Sub-zero and Miele appliances. A breakfast bar seats three for coffee and quick bites, while the dining table seats eight for lingering dinners after a full day outside.
Sleeping arrangements
The upper floor hosts the primary bedroom with a queen bed, TV, and private balcony overlooking the trees. A den bedroom on this level includes a twin bunk bed, while this space is designed as a den and does not have an external window, it offers a comfortable and private sleeping space. The main bathroom features a deep soaker tub, separate glass-enclosed shower, and double vanity. On the lower floor, one bedroom offers a queen bed and large windows, another includes two bunk beds and a TV, and the fourth bedroom features a king-split bed, TV, and an ensuite bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower. Guest Access:
Guests will have full, private access to the residence, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and the patio or balcony. A private hot tub is available for your exclusive use. A private garage provides parking for one vehicle. Check-in is contactless, with entry provided via a unique door code. Detailed check-in instructions will be sent prior to arrival.
The Neighborhood:
Taluswood is perched high on Whistler Mountain in the peaceful Nordic neighbourhood, offering a quiet, forested setting with sweeping mountain views. With direct access to ski trails leading to Creekside, it’s ideal for intermediate skiers and snowboarders looking for a true slopeside experience. In summer, guests enjoy nearby hiking and biking trails, along with the serenity of being above the bustle of the village. Due to its secluded location, Taluswood is best suited for guests with a vehicle. While there’s no public transit in the immediate area, Creekside’s shops, restaurants, and gondola are just a short drive away, making it easy to enjoy both nature and convenience.

• Not pet-friendly. This home has a strict no-pets policy and can result in a $500 fine
• No parties. Event celebrations or parties are allowed on this property
• No air conditioning. Fans are provided for all bedrooms
• Vehicle restriction. Trailers and other recreational vehicles such as ATV's, Snowmobiles, Watercraft of any kind, RV's, campers are not permitted in the complex.

Summary: This property has it all - completely renovated, modern appliances and furnishings, beautiful views, warm fireplace, cozy hot tub, Ski in/out access, and a very responsive host company. This was probably one of the best vacation rentals that we have ever stayed at and would highly recommend this property.
