Summary: We loved the location of our little apartment/studio in Vieux Quebec. The area is very walkable--in fact, the only time we took public transportation was the #800 bus to Montmorency Falls. Lots of hills and stairs, including a flight of stairs down to the studio itself, but a short walk to Petit Champlain, full of shops and places for a snack or meal. The living area of the place looks directly out onto a pedestrian street so we kept the curtains closed, but we were out exploring all day. It would have been nice to have a grocery store nearby--the small shops had very limited offerings.
