Summary: In the last year I've stayed at virutally every hotel in the Novi area as my father's health was declining. The Double Tree is always one of the more expensive hotels in the area. He passed, and I just needed a decent place to stay... the staff was lovely, and I appreciated that I could order food once I finally got the hotel at 10pm - however, I'm allergic to feathers - and was told they only have TWO non feather pillows in the entire building. Then, starting at 7am, the number of guests slamming doors, kids running up and down the hallway, and a father banging on several of the near by doors yelling for his kids to get up because they were going to miss class made the entire experience totally not worth the extra money. It's not a dorm. It's a hotel.
