Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Well located; in nature, but still very close to the city and surrounding sites (30-40 min to Quebec City). The chalet was spacious and brand new. The hot tub was a great and we also enjoyed the bath tub upstairs. The beds, pillows, blankets, and bedding were very comfortable! Well stocked and nice coffee machine.

Negative: We had a couple of technical issues with the fireplace and front door lock that should have been apologized for and resolved quickly but the management company did not seem to believe us (?) that technical issues were occurring. I had to tell them six times that the fireplace didn’t work and then finally it was fixed once the owner and repair team came after two days. The front door lock also does not always work and we had to use a spare key that they directed us to, but they did not resolve the underlying issue. It was frustrating because we had to push to get the issues resolved and the management team continually blamed everything on us, even when we followed the provided instructions and shared documentation.

Summary: Relaxing and comfortable chalet that is in the trees but also close to the city.
