Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The view was beautiful and the atmosphere incredibly peaceful, even in winter. The bed was very comfortable and the room felt clean and well cared for. I also appreciated having a microwave, coffee machine, and minibar in the room, which was very convenient. The shower box was small, but the shower itself was excellent. I can only imagine how amazing this place must be during the summer. Magog is just a few minutes’ drive away and has great restaurants and parks.

Negative: There was no one at the reception when we arrived, likely due to it being January 1st. We received a letter with instructions to access the room, which worked well, but it would have been helpful to be informed in advance. The road leading up to the property wasn’t fully cleared of snow, and it took a while to climb the hill by car.

Summary: A peaceful retreat with stunning views and great comfort, perfect for a quiet escape close to Magog.
